- very cost-effective consdering average prcie in the area. the best location near bus station to Valetta and other major areas, but still quiet. helpful staff, clean room, and very good breakfast. partial ocean view recommended.

12:15. After transfer in Beijing, we took Lufthansa to Frankfurt for the 2nd transfer.
I loved the meal, especially after the poor service in Timing Lounge.
19:00. We've arrvied in Frankfurt. The aiport is qutie big since it's a home of the airline and a flight hub of the area. However it is strange that there is no airline lounge accessible with Priority Pass. Probably German thing? Anyway we had only 1.5 hours for transfer, so just went staright for our next flight.
20:30. Going to Malta.
23:05. Malta airport.
Buying Explore Flex cards. The kiosk is located in the center of the arriving hall and easy to find. The instruction was also easy to follow. You can buy them also at the Valletta Bus Terminal.
I planned to call Bolt, but most passengers just queued to buy taxi tickets, so I also followed others. The price is pre-defined depending on the destination and pre-paid. The system seemed quite reliable.
Before booking, I've alread went through this area with Google street view for security reason, so it seemed familiar.
The room is just big enough for 2 people. I loved almost every part of Malta, excpet the cost of accommodation. However it's cleary tourist area, and nothing can be perfect.
Conveniently structured closet and freezer.
It was already after midnight, but we still went out for late night food.

I booked a partial ocean view, which I didn't even know if there is such a room type, with extra cost, and it worth it. There are hotels along the coastal street but seemed to crowded. On the other hand, I could enjoy the sunrise every morningh in calm atmosphere.
She still needed more sleep, so I went for a walk alone.
So many runners. If my bag has room for running shoes, I'll join them next time.
Before going back to the hotel, I stopped by a local mart just to check out.
The living cost is similar to Seoul, or a little higher, except beer of which price is only half!
