Cora-Berliner-Straße 1, 10117 Berlin, Germany   We had such strong emotional experience here and learned a lot. 2023-05-17 WED This memorial was not really my "must-go" but it way on our walking route anyway. But we had such strong emotional experience here and learned a lot. The museum is underground and the round was filled with random sized cubes. First this reminded me of coffins, but I could feel something more from the overall structure and arrangement.  This is why we must learn history. People need to realize that it's not only some tragedy happened in old times or in other countries, but can be always our own story. The most emotional part was the actual letters hand-written before people die. Many were sobbing in this room. The shoes we've seen in Budapest. Back on the ground, walked among the bricks, which felt weird especially after visiting the museum. back to Berlin (2023)

Hannah-Arendt-Straße 1, 10117 Berlin, Germany   It was ok besides that my noodle was too mild. 2023-05-17 WED After we were kicked out of the  Berliner Kindl , I didn't want to wast more time so just went to this restaurant.  It is located right across from the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe. Scfferhofer Weizen Dunkel Fl.0.5L 4.5 Dumpling in Chili Oil Sauce (4 pieces) 4.0 Noodles with Scallion, Oil and Soy-sauce 8.5 +raised egg 1.0 + Braised tofu 1.0 I ordered this noodle but the staff explained that if I don't add any items, it's just plain noodle. So I added egg and tofu. It was ok but would be better if it has more sauce. Fried rice? Just ordinary fried rice but still better than mine. back to Berlin (2023)

경기 성남시 분당구 성남대로331번길 3-13 대명제스트빌딩 자리를 잡고 앉으니 밤새 피곤에 찌든 듯한 여자분이 주문하라는 듯 내 쪽을 쳐다본다. 밤새 일하셨으니 피곤한 건 이해하겠는데, 그렇다고 인사는 커녕 뭐 먹겠냐는 말도 없이 뚱한 표정으로 눈만 꿈뻑꿈뻑. 짜장면 짜다.  2023-06-25 SUN 일요일 출근 기념 회사 근처 조식. 예전에 회식하고 배는 부르나 속이 살짝 허해질 때 쯤 2차를 꼭 여기로 오는 당시 팀장님 덕에 자주 왔던 곳이다. 대학원 때 자취방 앞에도 24시간 기사식당에서 감자 듬뿍 들어간 짜장면을 24시간 팔아서, 술에 취해 집에 가다가 먹고는 다음날 속이 부대껴서 후회하고 또 반복하던 느낌이랑 비슷하다.  7시 출근이라 새벽 6시쯤이었는데 정자동에ㅅ, 특히 일요일 아침 먹을 곳이 생각보다 더 없었다. 회사에서 걸어오는 길에는 일단 하나도 없었고, 지도에서 검색한 곳이 2~3 군데 있었는데 다행히 첫 번째로 온 여기가 영업중이었다. 메뉴를 살짝 고민했는데 엊그제 텔레비전에서 "나는 솔로"던가 짜장면 먹는 장면 때문에 온 게 컸다.  자리를 잡고 앉으니 밤새 피곤에 찌든 듯한 여자분이 주문하라는 듯 내 쪽을 쳐다본다. 밤새 일하셨으니 피곤한 건 이해하겠는데, 그렇다고 인사는 커녕 뭐 먹겠냐는 말도 없이 뚱한 표정으로 눈만 꿈뻑꿈뻑.  옛날수타짜장 7.5 짜다. 예전엔 맛있게 먹었던 것 같은데 술 기운이었나. 정자 목록으로

I just asked if we could wait in the outdoor table only for 5 minutes until it's open, but he kicked us out with very unpleasant face. Rude or racist, or both.   2023-05-17 WED Several attempts to find a place for lunch had failed. The China club was closed. This restaurant, called Berliner Kindl seemed nice. Every Berliners were kind except this restaurant. 5 minutes left until the Bavaria Berlin would be open and the door was locked. I could wait but was already upset with what happened in the Berliner Kindl, so we just went to the Noodle Plus next door.  back to Berlin (2023)

Platz der Republik 1, 11011 Berlin, Germany   2023-05-17 WED   For the last day in Berlin, we head and the Brandenburg Gate. Berlin is well-known city, but I didn't know what it has beside the Wall. I was so busy with work and when I finally had time to look into the Lonely Planet guide that I've bought a few weeks earlier, the Reichstag Building was the top in the list, and I've never heard of the name before. It said that early reservation is required to get to the top level, and obviously we were too late. When we came out of the metro station, it was middle of nowhere, which was like Han river park. It was nice walk along the river.  Hopefully we'll be back later to visit the glass dome. back to Berlin (2023)
