We didn't have much plan before the party in the evening, so she began hunting the one she's been in the last time she visited HK. I'll be just happy with these street food. There are millions of yummy ones here, but why durian pudding?!! This is the only clue of the one but there was no such shop around the area. Probably it's been closed during the quarantine period. She didn't give up and I had to hurry to this mall for nature' call. A long queue to the Hashtag B. Seriously? It's HK, people! I stopped by a shop to be ready for the life-time long hunting. G/F, Western Market, 323 Des Voeux Rd Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong   well-franchised dessert restaurant. If you love durians, this is where you can find one. 2023-09-28 THU There are not many dessert restaurants near Central, and Honeymoon Dessert was one of only a few options.  In a random cafe, while hunting for dessert restaurants. To me, this main street crossing from west to east between Sheungwan and Wanchai, seems to have the most Hong-Kong-ly scenes with all the trams and buildings.  Honeymoon Dessert is a franchise but still servers various dessert like the old styled ones. I always go with the recommendations on the first visit. durian ? 57 She loves durian. I told my HK friends that she's looking for durian puddings, and even the locals didn't get it. Label Taro Ball 42 We have all these sweet desserts but why durian? why?! Shop A1, G/F, The Zenith Tower 3, 8 Wan Chai Rd, Wan Chai, Hong Kong   A small old-styled dessert place in the back street of Wanchai. Various menu. Seats limited.  2023-09-27 WED Hong Kong is famous for desserts, but somehow it was net easy to find ones near Central. Especially the old-styled dessert places that open until late, could be found only in some areas far from Central.  So we took a tram to Wanchai only for dessert, and taking trams is fun itself.  Those pictures on the wall simply look like famous movie scenes, but all of them are parodies with the name of this place in it. For example Joker is crying in a car passing by the sign of this place.  Chestnut & Taro Soup with Icy Milk 52 The taste is familiar but icy milk is always right.  Black Sesame Soup with Soy Pudding 38 Black Sesame Soup was too mild considering it's a dessert.  mango pudding? 45 So she had another one. I failed to find the name of this place. 보통은 사진이나 위치 정보로 상호를 찾아내는데 여기는 실패함. 2019-10-06 SUN We were looking for a place for lunch but this Turkish restaurant was not yet ready. 점심 먹을 장소를 찾고 있는데 이 터키 레스토랑은 아직 준비가 안되어 있었다. Then these sweeties next door caught her eyes. 그러다 옆집 케이크들이 그분의 눈에 포착됨. And fresh juice. 그리고 신선한 주스. A piece of cake 3.9 케잌 한 조각 2500원. 이런건 한국이랑 별 차이 없네. back to Plovdiv (2019)

WenMing Road 218, Guangzhou, China 다양한 디저트 이 거리가 디저트로 유명한 듯 디저트 가게 몇 곳이 모여있다. 다른 곳에 비해서 매장이 작아서 자리를 잡으려면 기다려야 하는데 회전이 빠른 편이라 오래 기다리지는 않는 듯 하다. 디저트 종류가 워낙 많은데다가 메뉴판이 한자로만 되어 있어서 현지인 도움을 받지 않으면 주문이 어려울 수도 있다. 2018-03-02 FRI The last stop of the day: dessert 랜턴 페스티벌 구경 후 그냥 가기 아쉬워 마지막으로 디저트 가게를 들렀다. This was the place we were trying to visit but fully booked, so moved to the next one. 원래 가려던 곳은 여기인데 매장이 꽤 큰편인데도 자리가 없어서 바로 옆의 가게로 옮겼다. They have various menus but the menu was written only in Chinese. 메뉴가 상당히 다양한데 한자로만 쓰여있다. Who care food safety when it's delicious. :P 음식 안전 등급을 의무적으로 표시하게 되어있나본데, 최하인 C등급이다. 아이콘 귀엽네. back to Guangzhou (2018)
