A shopping mall near Resort Drive Earth Fare is a shopping mall near Crowne Plaza where Lindy Focus is happening. 린디포커스 행사장인 크라운 플라자 근처에 꽤 큰 마트가 있다. 호텔에 묵는 댄서들은 대부분 여기서 장을 본다고 한다. Restaurang Rakan 에서 만족스런 식사를 마치고, 여행에서 빼놓을 수 없는 술을 사기 위해 Central에 위치한 COOP라는 마트 체인으로 향했다. 직원이 계산하는 곳은 줄이 길고, 대신 셀프 계산대가 많이 준비되어 있다. 외국에서 몇 번 사용해봤던 터라 능숙하게 바코드를 인식하고 봉투에 담는다. 주류를 구매하기 위해서는 직원이 신분증 확인을 해야 하는데, 품목에 주류가 포함되어 있으면 자동으로 직원을 호출한다. 그래서 여권을 꼭 챙겨가야 한다. 한 번은 직원이 나한테 나이를 묻길래, 이제 1주일 뒤면 우리나이로 마흔(...)이고 해서 농담 좀 보태서 'forty'라고 했더니, 별 시덥잖은 농담을 한다는 듯한 표정으로 나와 여권을 번갈아 보더라. 그러더니 놀라면서 '너 엄청 어려보여서 그랬어! 좋은거지, 그건!' 아 누가 뭐래나.
