22 Calcada das Verdades, Macao not just ruins of fort but an event place with great view 2023-11-29 FRI It was a day trip to Macau and didn't have many must-go destinations. After the Ruins of St. Paul's, we headed to the Monte Fort without much expectations. Well, fort is fort anyway. The streets seems like a mixture of Lisboa and Hong Kong.  The tiny altar is attached to the wall of a building as if it's a part of pre-defined architecture here. We just randomly passed by this restaurant with 4.8 Google review point! We should have tried no matter how full we were. :( We thought that the fort would be just ruins of old walls but it was more like a well-decorated park. 경기 성남시 중원구 제일로73번길 16 크란츠빌II 102호 사장님 친절. 주말엔 대로변 주차 가능.  2023-11-18 SAT 훠궈 먹은지 너무 오래 되어서 (한 달?) 주말을 맞아 눈 뜨자마라 신마장훠궈 를 찾았는데 마침 결혼식 참석 때문에 2시에 영업한다고 안내문이 붙어있다. 신마장훠궈 발굴 시 다른 후보가 하나 더 있었는데, 신마장훠궈가 너무 마음에 들어서 가 볼 생각도 안 했던 신샤브샤브가 그곳이다. 이 근처 주차가 어차피 다 엉망이지만 그래도 여기는 대로변에 있고 주말에 길가 주차가 가능해서 용이한 편이다.  테이블이 6개 정도로 협소한 편이고, 이제 막 개시하셨는지 훠궈 재료를 세팅하고 계셨다.  재료는 신마장보다 종류가 적은 편. 결정적으로 얼린 두부가 없다! 고기도 양고기와 소고기 두 종류 뿐이지만 어차피 양고기만 먹어서 이 부분은 크게 상관 없다. 그것보다 양고기 보관 상태가 (어차피 냉동이긴 하지만) 부서지지 않고 양호해서 이 부분은 좋았다. 남자 사장님이 상당히 친절 하셨고 직접 소스를 만들어 주셨다. 다른 곳처럼 소스 제조법 하나 붙여 놓으면 좋을 것 같다.  훠궈엔 칭따오. 여러 면에서 신마장훠궈보다 부족해서 언제 다시 올지 모르지만 나름 만족스러웠다. 경기 목록으로

Visit when it opens to avoid a long queue. 2023-09-30 SAT She wanted to eat dim sum but recalled the fact that did only in the evening, though it's Chinese brunch. So we looked for dim sum as soon as we arrived in Tsim Sha Tsui.  There was already a long queue to get in but didn't wait too long. I usually don't wait to eat but couldn't turn down her will for dim sum. The waiting ticket.  Mark ones you like and hand in. It's a small place packed with tables so we couldn't help but hear what people say. She mentioned something about a couple next table. I warned her that they could understand Korean, and the woman turned out to be Korean while taking to her parents on the phone. 381 Av. de Almeida Ribeiro, Macao   The taste is something you can expect but still good. 2023-10-29 FRI It was my first time to Macau but she's been here a long time ago. She wanted to revisit the restaurants she enjoyed the last time. There were a few failure in HK but Yee Shun Milk Company was still there in Macau. (Actually its branch is also in HK.) This is it. She was to happy to find it. Basically it's milk pudding but there are so many variations. As usual she stuck to the basic taste. The puddings were already made and stored in the freezer. Again the Google photo translate helped me to understand what the sign said. Thank you, cows. Cold Steamed Milk with Red Beans 35 Hot Steamed Milk 32 The taste is something you can expect but still good. One bowl was never enough, so she ordered another and finished it herself. back to Hong Kong (2023)

地下B座, Edificio Cheong Van, 46號 R. da Tercena, Macao Too crowded but still worth to visit. Better view at night but more crowded.   2023-09-29 FRI The only major destination of my plan in Macau is the Ruins of Paul's, so we headed there after lunch. The bus costed only 6 MOP = 0.75 USD. It was impressive that everyone give their seats to the elderly as if they always do so. This small alley reminds me of ones in traditional European town. The road and yellow walls also give Lisboa vibe. The way to the cathedral. photo zone. There is a museum inside the wall. People on the front stairway. It's quite hard to take a nice pick because of tons of tourists. It's actually cool but hard to enjoy in a relaxed way, so we didn't stay long. After dinner, we came back for night view. Still crowded. It seemed more crowded than daytime, probably because it was Friday night. There was even a TV show filming. Time to back to Hong Kong. Casinos on the way back to the ferry terminal.
