The first meal in Catania near the B&B.
I enjoyed most of the restaurants in Malta, but Italia surely has its own level and confidence, especially wines. The smart-looking staff shared his broad knowledge. For example, the gournd in this area is robust due to the volcano of Mt. Etta, so grape grows deep down absorbing much mineral, which creates the flavor of wine.

It is common for Italian restaurants to make you pay for "coperto" for each guest, the cost of seats and bread, and so on.

It is called 'salad', but more like a platter.
Good choices as always. As my wife always says, I'm a decision-maker good enough to choose my wife, and she is not so she chose me.
Stuffed sardines. The food was all good.
The restaurant is in a small alley surrounded building with decorative balconies.
Going back to B&B to change before the party.
The B&B is on the opposite side of the plaza from the opera house. The entrance is a bit tricky to find.
