Am Neuen Palais, 14469 Potsdam, Germany   The palace is much more magnificent than expected. The photo just cannot describe the view. However, it's still tourist attraction, so toilet and cafe are very crowded. 2023-05-18 THU Because we didn't know how much time we'd have once the festival begins, which turned out to be no time, headed to the top attraction in Potsdam, the New Palace. It's a bit far from the hotel but good enough to enjoy the ride. Almost every road has a lane for bikes, so it was very easy to move around with bikes. The most bike-friendly city that I've ever visited, even better than Amsterdam where you should watch out not cars but other crazy bikers. The palace is much more magnificent than expected. Before riding to the palace, we had our first meal near the hotel.  Outdoor table near the Ringerkolonnade. I can see  Mercure Hotel Potsdam City  across the street. The categori is "MMMH..." meaning recommendation? Cream of Tomato Soup 7.2 with fine basil Potsdam Monastery Beer 0.5l 5.2 local beer! pasta? 서울 서초구 강남대로10길 60-1   깊으면서도 느끼하지 않은 국내 (내가 가 본 중) 몇 안되는 제대로 된 돈코츠 라멘. 수용인원이 7명 정도로 작아서 11:30 오픈에 맞춰 가거나 12:30쯤 늦게 가는 걸 추천. 2023-07-03 MON 재택근무 기념 동네에서 점심 혼밥. 진리의 코이라멘지로 를 제외하고 드디어 괜찮은 라멘집을, 그것도 동네에서 찾았다! 점심을 뭐 먹을까 네이버 지도를 뒤적이다가 라멘을 검색했는데 (동네 몇 안되는 라멘집은 어차피 다 아는데 운명처럼, 습관처럼 검색) 처음 보는 식당이 나왔다. 평이 상당히 좋길래 두 번 안 생각하고 바로 출발. 간판이 없어서 모르고 지나치기 쉽다. 바로 옆 이자카야도 점심에 라멘을 팔던데 나중에 가보기로. 매장이 작고 웨이팅이 금방 생긴다고 해서 오픈 시간 직후 11:40쯤 도착했는데, 8명 정도 앉을 수 있는 'ㄱ'자 모양의 바에 이미 손님 2명이 있고 내 뒤로 2명이 따라 들어왔다. 11:50에 만석. 그런데 아무래도 평일 점심이다보니 왔다가 만석이라 돌아가는 손님은 있어도 웨이팅이 많지는 않았다. 아예 12:30쯤 오는 것도 방법이겠다.  사장님 혼자 일하시고 주문은 키오스크에서 셀프다. 가게 내부가 거의 조리 공간이라 자연스럽게 오픈 주방인데, 젊은 남자 사장님이 상당히 깔끔한 성격인 것 같다. 돼지 냄새 때문인지 향까지 피워 놓았다.  반찬은 시래기? 무침 하나. 요건 좀 아쉽네.  아카자루 (고구마 소주) 50ml 5.0 라멘은 맥주지만, 블로그 후기를 보고 쉽게 접하기 어려운 고구마 소주를 골랐다. 50ml면 양이 적은 거 아닌가 싶었는데 도수가 꽤 높은지 꽤 취기가 올랐다.  돈코츠라멘 구루메 (튀긴 비계 토핑) 11.0 평소 패턴이면 기본 메뉴부터 맛을 봤을텐데 돼지 비계라니 일단 놓칠 수 없고, 어차피 튀김이면 기본 국물에 영향도 없을 것 같아서 1천원 더 비싼 구루메로 주문했다. 생각과는 다르게 작은 입자 형태로 나왔는데, 자칫 심심할 수 있는 라멘 국물에 적절히 섞여

Potsdam is closely connected to Berlin and you can just take metro to get there. It's like Bundang from Seoul in Korea. Still it's out of region AB, I've bought 2 ABC tickets. 4-trip ABC ticket is 14.4 EUR, so it's cheaper than 4 single trip ABC 4 x 4 = 16 EUR. However it's cheaper in Potsdam, which is 3.6 EUR, and not sure we'd use those tickets when returning to the airport. Pfuelstraße 5, 10997 Berlin, Germany  Beautiful floor and nice river view. The organizer and dancers were so friendly that I had wonderful time. 2023-05-17 WED We stayed in Berlin for 3 nights and wanted to check out the social dance at least once. On Monday we arrived too late, and the venue on Tuesday was too far and away from the city.
