(Barcelona) Basílica de la Sagrada Família ★★★★★

C/ de Mallorca, 401, 08013 Barcelona, Spain

  • The one and only church in the earth
    • Everyone visits Sagrida Famlia in Barcelona, and it totally worth it. It's just more than unique and also beautiful at the same time. The inside looks different from outside, so I strongly recommend to get inside. You have to book in advance, at least 1 day early. You can book with your mobile. It's been under construction for many decades, so you can enjoy the visit, though you've been here before.

Basílica de la Sagrada Família

After checking out Playa de Bogatell, we came back to the Rambla del Poblenou. Our plan was to walk along this beautiful street all the way till we mee the Av. Diagonal, and head west to the Sagrada Familia.

We were not in hurry, so stopped for every small reason.

Including coffee break.

Picking up dessert.

I guess she was shopping something, so I just sat on a bench and watch people passing by, which is one of my favoirte activiteis during travles.

She's not back yet.

Av. Diagonal. It has very unique structure where a wide pedestrian street divides roads.

It seemed that there is a soccer game going on, and a bunch of people were watching the big screeen inside the building.

Torre Glòries

I had added this building to my wish list but actually I don't think there's a point to get inside the building itself.

The top of the basilica began to appear on the top of other buildings.

Obviously it's still under construction for decades.

It is another way to enjoy this giant artwork to see it with the other backgrounds of Barcelona.

Stopped by for coffee take-out.
