It’s a bit far from the city center, but the area is full of restaurants and still walkable to most attractions, including the beach. Calle Almirante Cervera, 5, BAJO, Poniente, 07014 Palma, Balearic Islands, Spain   Compact but well-organized hostel close to the center. Great location with easy access to the beach and lots of restaurants nearby. Nice pool for a small place. Helpful staff, though reception isn’t always attended. The room was tiny, with a bathroom oddly large for its size. 2025-05-04 SUN All I wanted was a pool.  The guides and reviews said that it's better to stay in Palma so I didn't expect much for Alcudia, but it turned out to be a more tourist place in a way. Also she has mentionded that it's too tiring to move hotels too often, so I just planned to move to Palma right after taking off the ferry. However she corrected that it's ok to stay in more cities if it is already on the route like this case. So better choice should have been to stay a few days here and then move to Palma. Just for next time.  I also considered to use storage service to visit the old town, but there was none...

3 07760, Carrer de Sant Sebastià, 1, 07760 Ciutadella de Menorca, Illes Balears, Spain Great location very center of the town. You can easily stop by for toiler or cold beer. Kindest owner. However, the open shower and toilet was uncomfortable to share with a partner, but it was ok to have a shared toilet on the ground level. The lock was old and somewhat hard to control.   2025-04-30 WED Home in Ciutadella. A dog greeted us as we arrived in Ciutadella from Mao. Definitely Ciutadella is a more touristic city, with all these old town style streets and buildings. The hotel is near the  Cathedral Basilica of Ciutadella de Menorca . The entrance is in a small street on the right side of the photo above. Here we are. I just added a new travel policy that I'd not book a "boutique hotel" after the trip to Catania, there were no options in Ciutadella especially with the crazy prices in Spain. There was not much to complain except the bathroom, but this one was too big. The toilet...
