Still, I liked the street atmosphere and the view. 2025-05-10 SAT After-lunch beer break.  After having lunch, Imin and we headed to Passeig de Lluis Companys.  Torre Glòries A nice walk along  Parc de l'Estació del Nord .  Arc de Triomf Pg. de St. Joan to Northwest. We just wanted have drinks watching the gate, but obviously that's what everyone wated.  Luckily we could get a table with the best view. However they requested us to order not only dirnks but also food, so we just had chorizo, which is actually good with wine or beer. This is not usual but still understandable considering the popularity of the spot.  I didn't mind.  Barcelona (2025.5)

Moll de Llevant, 12, 07701 Maó, Illes Balears, Spain   Good to take a break with the view to the port, unless a group of tourists is visiting. 2025-04-28 MON One of the few places where you can enjoy views of the Port of Maó-Mahón over drinks. A barbershop reminded me of the time I got a haircut in France that ended up as a man bun. The bus terminal was only 5 minutes walk from our hotel. My first plan was to rent a car, and drive around the area. But at the last moment I cancelled it on one of the airport lounges on the way here, because it didn't seem that we'd travel that much. So I thought that this bus terminal nearby would be useful, but it turne out that we stayed only in Mao.  REMINDER: Think twice before renting a car. We are not that kind of travelers. The city center is 15 minutes walk from our hotel, and we alrways passed by  Plaça Esplanada  . Calm and clean small streets. You can find other tourists from this street. Piazza San Gaetano, 316-322, 80138 Napoli NA, Italy   good way to start you day like locals. helpful staff. a bit frantic but lively. 2024-09-18 WED Unusually we were not hungry that much, so just started the day like Italians with espresso and bread. The cafe is just on the first floor of our B&B. I think I've asked for recommendation. I don't drink espresso in Korea, but often enjoy it especially when traveling, partly because I don't want to put water into my stomach instead of local food. Via Etnea, 28, 95131 Catania CT, Italy   The best way to enjoy sunset in Catania with cocktails and snacks with reasonable price. You need to bell at the door to get in the hostel first. 2024-09-15 SUN There are no super tall building to look out the city in Catania. Some of the churches like  Chiesa della Badia di Sant'Agata  let guests climb up to the top, but the entrance costs more than it worths for me. Furthermore, it's trickty to be there when sun sets, and not a good setting to take time to enjoy the view. However, there's a great alternative option, a rooftop of the degli Elefanti Hostel Catania. It is located in the northeastern corner of the  Piazza del Duomo .  Getting in is a bit tricky, because it's in a hostel where the door is not always open. You need to ring the bell and tell them that you want to visit the rooftop bar. If you go up to the 2nd floor, which is practically 4th floor, there is a reception where you pay 9 euros as entrance fee like...
