Sant Martí, Barcelona, Spain   A very long beach full of activities like volleyball and other entertainment. 2025-05-11 SUN Why haven't I been here before?  After brunch at  3 Sabores Bcn , we just kept waking along the Rambla del Poblenou all the way to the Playa de Bogatell.  Right before you meet the beach, there is the Parc del Poblenou .  It'd feel so nice lie down on the grass in the shadow of the giant tree.  So there is a beach in Barcelona. I've visited the city many times but I've never thought about coming down here, and only stayed the other side of the city.  And it seems so nice.  The beach is so long that I couldn't see where it ends, and it was full of entertainments like volleyball.  If you're too tired of the sunlight, you may get across to the street to take a rest under the tree of the  Parc del Poblenou . Alcudia beach, Spain   A nice beach close to the port and the old town. Clean and shallow water. Lots of restaurants and facilities nearby.  2025-05-07 WED Alcudia beach.  We took a bus again back to the town, and the same bus with broken system took us again. Thanks for the free ride. However, there was temporary route modification due to some race coming up. So we had to take off early and walk.  It must be a triathlon. There were hundres of bicycles stored by the beach so that the participants can take after they finish swimming.  There were some people in the water wearing wetsuits, probably getting used to the conditions before the race.  The water in the middle of the bay is not too deep and seemed good to have fun.  Nothing is free.  Mallorca (2025.5)

Platja de Muro, Spain   will visit again when the weather is better 2025-05-07 WED Only if the weather was better.  We took a bus from the old town. The system was broke and the driver just let us get on for free.  The beach is very long with shops and restaurants.  The entrances like this is quite far from each other.  It was too cold and windy so she just waited for me to get close to the beach area and look around.  A romantic bridge to the seawater.  is actually something you have to pay for.  Mallorca (2025.5)

Avinguda de Joan Miró, 279, 07015 Palma, Illes Balears, Spain   A nice beach close to Palma, but with few restaurants nearby. 2025-05-06 TUE A nice beach not too far from Palma.  The beach is not visible from the road since it's blocked by buildings. This is the way to the beach.  And this appears.  There's a small bar. Overpriced but that's the price for drinking at a beack.  Mallorca (2025.5)

Carrer de la Marina, 3-11, 07100 Sóller, Illes Balears, Spain   A nice small beach with clear water and plenty of cafés and restaurants. I haven’t been there late, but I guess it’s better after the day-trippers leave. 2025-05-05 MON It'd be nice to stay here tanning on the beach, watching day-trippers leave so soon, which was me by the way. People waiting for a tram back to the town. It'd be nice if they have some kind of system to make a queue, which can be just a simple line on the ground.  I found something interesting in the shop but cannot recognize from this photo.  People make money from nature everywhere.  The water was so clean that it was shame I couldn't dip myself in.  I still wanted to sun bathe but she didn't like it.  So I just went forth and back between the beach and beer.  Mallorca (2025.5)
