95100 Catania, Metropolitan city of Catania, Italy fun to look around but little messy 2024-09-14 SAT While walking along  Via Etnea , we've found this local market. We've finally found affordable clotehs for sale. The street was a little messy, probably even worse after the grocery market closed in the morning. Basilica Satuario del Carmine Chiesa di San Gaetano alle Grotte , a small church in the very middle of the small street. back to Catania (2024.9)

Good to take a break while walking around but restaurants are not recommended. You can find good small cafes in the corner instead. 2024-09-13 FRI The central plaza of Catania. You cand find colorful umbrella decorations in many places. Chiesa della Badia di Sant'Agata It is always full of vigorous atmosphere, and of course tourists. Artists busking at nights. 1100-148 Lisbon, Portugal   A plaza in the seaside area where you can take a break with wide-open view. 2022-09-08 THU We came back from Belem and wanted to look around a little more before going back to the hotel. Every city, especially in Europe has a few plazas and probably this is the one in Lisbon. The central area is located on the hill and this is near the sea. A plaza where tram 28 departs. You can cut in a long queue if you don't mind standing in the tram. The plaza is also good for taking a beer/coffee break.   2022-09-07 WED From  Miradouro da Senhora do Monte , we just walked around the streets without specific destinations. Fruit and vegetable looked so fresh. This long escalator in the Praca Martim Moniz reminded me of the Central-Mid-Levels Escalators in Hong Kong. Tea time in a small cafe. (toilet emergency) There was no seat in the toilet but the staff didn't seem to recognize it is a problem. After some experiments, I found out that actually it makes quite efficient posture. At first I tried to go to a toilet in the shopping mall, but this review just changed my mind. People waiting for tram 28. If you don't mind standing in the tram, you can just go to the front and get in after all the seats are taken. back to Lisbon (2022)

C78V+62 Madrid, Spain   A historical landmark. At daytime it's just a big plaza, but it becomes a food street at night with lots of people. 2022-09-06 TUE I exchanged my complimentary drink ticket from the hotel with this bottle of beer. Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía is under maintenance when it's not business day. We had small breakfast, Catalan style “fideuá” with squids, shrimps and prawns from last night dinner at the  La Malonita . Today, our first plan is to walk from the plaza Mayor to the Royal Palace of Madrid. We still can walk to the Plaza Mayor, but we needed to save energy for all day walk and will have to use public transport when visiting the Mint Museum anyway. We got off the metro at the Sol station. A big crowd along the Real Casa de Correos. While walking along the C. Mayor you can find this interesting gate on your left, and that is the Plaza Mayor. Plaça de l'Armada, Ctra. de Miramar, 38, 08038 Barcelona, 스페인 2017. 9. 5. 화. 론리플래닛에 써있길, 시장에서 와인을 사서 케이블카를 타고 몬주익에 올라 석양을 보며 마시면 좋다길래 도전. 처음엔 와인을 사려고 했는데 잔이 문제네. 상그리아도 와인은 와인이니까(?) 병에 든 상그리아로 대체. 뭔가 생각했던 것과 분위기가 많이 다르지만... 댄서 겸 마라토너의 고민. 이런 곳을 보면 달리고 싶지만 밤에 춤을 추려면 참아야겠지. 이런 곳에 호텔이 있네. 특이하게 생긴 나무. 내려가는 길. 케이블카 내린 반대방향으로 언덕을 내려가는 도보가 있다. 계속 따라가다 보면 시내 방향이다. 동네 사람들이 많이 찾는 장소인 듯. 관광객한테 유명한 장소는 아닌 것 같은데 여기도 유흥가가 형성되어 있다.
