Fun to explore the small shops and unique buildings around it. 2025-05-08 THU Fun to walk around.  There is a small plaza on the way to the Palacio Episcopal de Mallorca.  Fun T-shirts. I wanted to buy one only if it's little cheaper. Something like "I'm not old. Plaça des Born, 7, 07760 Ciutadella de Menorca, Illes Balears, Spain   A main plaza at the entrance to the old town. This is where the buses depart to other areas. 2025-05-01 THU 08:05 Obelisc de Ciutadella A race like marathon or trail running was happening. Later, in Mallorca there was also a triathlon race. This kind of sports seem to be popular around here. Maybe I wasn't complete relieved yet. 95100 Catania, Metropolitan city of Catania, Italy fun to look around but little messy 2024-09-14 SAT While walking along  Via Etnea , we've found this local market. We've finally found affordable clotehs for sale. The street was a little messy, probably even worse after the grocery market closed in the morning. Basilica Satuario del Carmine Chiesa di San Gaetano alle Grotte , a small church in the very middle of the small street. back to Catania (2024.9)

Good to take a break while walking around but restaurants are not recommended. You can find good small cafes in the corner instead. 2024-09-13 FRI The central plaza of Catania. You cand find colorful umbrella decorations in many places. Chiesa della Badia di Sant'Agata It is always full of vigorous atmosphere, and of course tourists. Artists busking at nights. Good to take a break while walking around but restaurants are not recommended. You can find good small cafes in the corner instead. Obviously Chiesa della Badia di Sant'Agata is the main attraction but it's just our first day so I've saved it for later. Fontana dell'Elefante. 1100-148 Lisbon, Portugal   A plaza in the seaside area where you can take a break with wide-open view. 2022-09-08 THU We came back from Belem and wanted to look around a little more before going back to the hotel. Every city, especially in Europe has a few plazas and probably this is the one in Lisbon. The central area is located on the hill and this is near the sea. A plaza where tram 28 departs. You can cut in a long queue if you don't mind standing in the tram. The plaza is also good for taking a beer/coffee break.   2022-09-07 WED From  Miradouro da Senhora do Monte , we just walked around the streets without specific destinations. Fruit and vegetable looked so fresh. This long escalator in the Praca Martim Moniz reminded me of the Central-Mid-Levels Escalators in Hong Kong. Tea time in a small cafe. (toilet emergency) There was no seat in the toilet but the staff didn't seem to recognize it is a problem. After some experiments, I found out that actually it makes quite efficient posture. At first I tried to go to a toilet in the shopping mall, but this review just changed my mind. People waiting for tram 28. If you don't mind standing in the tram, you can just go to the front and get in after all the seats are taken. back to Lisbon (2022)
