I found out this last time we're here, but it's been already 6 years. Probably we looked confused and a kind young lady told us that these are same places in Korean! Thanks to K-pop, it's not hard to find foreigners speaking Korean any more. The prices increased by about 5 HKD. I thought that there would be only a few menu because it's a congee place, however it turned out to have so various menu with other menus also. This is a must-visit restaurant if you stay in this area. recent post 2023-09-28 (Hong Kong) Sang Kee Congee Shop ★★★★★ 호텔 주변에 있던 콘지 식당. 호텔에서 100m 정도의 가까운 거리인데다 유명한 곳이라 한븐쯤은 와서 먹겠지 하고 저장해놨는데 홍콩 도착한 시간이 아침이라 다들 뭔가 속을 채워줄 음시이 필요했나보다. 그런데 이게 무슨일인가. 콘지 가게 앞에서 그분과 나 둘 다 친했던 동생을 딱 만났네. 홍콩 번화가도 아닌 뒷골목 콘지집에서 지인을 만나다니. 같은 간판의 가게가 나란이 2개 있는데 오른쪽은 매장이 작아서 포장 위주라고 한다. 콘지라고 해서 죽이 메뉴가 얼마나 있겠어 싶었는데 엄청난 메뉴에 우선 놀랬다. 하긴 고명이 무엇이 들어가냐에 따라 달라지는거니까. 테이블 위의 메뉴는 중국어로만 되어 있는데 당황하지 말고 영어 메뉴 달라고 하면 준다. 허름한 집이지만 워낙 유명한 곳이다 보니 영어 메뉴도 있는 듯 하다. 홍콩이기도 하고. 뒷면이 있는줄 모르고 앞면만 보고 주문했는데 나중에 뒤를 보니 국수도 있더라. 난 죽보다 국수가 좋은데. 나중에 오면 국수 먹어야지 싶었는데 주말엔 영업을 안하는거 같더라.
