Liesse, Il-Belt Valletta, Malta   Do NOT use this unless you're 100% seasick free. More than 10 people vomitted on our ride. 2024-09-11 WED The worst transport ever. A day for Gozo. Gozo is the second biggest island of Malta, and it's about 1/3 of the main island, that we just call as Malta. There seems to exist many differences between these two islands historically, cultrurally, racialy, and so on. Therefore it is recommended to stay over more than a night in Gozo to cover at least some of the major areas, but she hates changing hotels/cities too often. After Malta, we'll also visit Catania and Naples, so we've just reached the limit. In conclusion, it's a day trip to Gozo.  Whenever we take a bus to Valletta, we pass by this beautiful bay area but never had a chance to look around. 2013-09-27 FRI 17:00 Rhodes > (1:00) > 18:00 Marmaris, Turkey We booked a ferry to Marmaris, Turkey at www.feribot.net with 39 EUR 페리보트닷넷에서 터키 마르마리스로 가는 페리를 6만원 정도에 미리 예매했다. However, I knew that we were supposed to take the ferry in the different port from the one we arrived in, but didn't know it was that far. (Google maps suck!) In the end, we had to run a quite long distance with those heavy bags, and one wheel was broken on the rocky road. 마르마리스로 가는 페리가 산토리니에서 도착했던 항구가 아닌 다른 항구에서 출발한다는 건 미리 알고 있었는데, 구글 지도만 믿다가 그 거리가 그렇게 먼 줄 몰랐다. 여유부리다가 결국 무거운 캐리어를 끌고 한참을 뛰어갔는데, 울툴불퉁한 도로에서 하나가 고장나서 거의 질질 끌다시피 가야했다. A can of beer after a long race: 2 EUR 긴 경주 끝의 맥주 한 캔. 가치를 매길 수 없는건 아니고 2유로 줬음. It only takes 1 hour to Turkey. It seems like a small local boat but literally international ferry. 마르마리스까지는 1시간이면 도착한다. 시골 통통배 같지만 이래뵈도 국제선. back to Rhodes (2013)

2013-09-27 FRI 00:50 Santorini > (9:10) > 10:00 Rhodes We took a bus to the port but it turned out that everyone wanted to take the same one for the overnight ferry. It was almost a war to get in the bus. We won the battle but strongly suggest to prepare for another option. 스케줄이 맞길래 큰 고민 없이 버스를 타고 항구로 가면 되겠구나 싶었는데, 모든 사람들이 같은 버스로 그 큰 페리로 이동하고자 하는 것을 간과했다. 치열한 전투(?) 끝에 버스에 타긴 했는데, 가능하다면 버스 말고 다른 수단을 강구하는게 정신건강과 신체건강을 위해 좋겠다. The only thing in my mind was the relief that we can catch the ferry, so didn't have a chance to feat the height. 우여곡절 끝에 버스에 오르니 이거 놓쳤으면 한국에 못갈뻔 했겠구나 하는 생각만 들어서 올 때 무서웠던 경사를 보고도 별 생각이 안들었다. This wasn't ours. 도착하자마자 배가 들어오길래 어 저 배인가 싶었는데 아니었음. Our Blue Horizon is coming to the port. It takes 9 hours to Rhodes, so it'll be 10 in the morning. 9:45 Mykonos > (2:35) > 12:20 Santorini 2013-09-24 TUE The last morning in Mykonos. 미코노스를 떠나는 아침. I walked around the beach for the last time. 마지막으로 플라티스 이올라스 비치를 둘러봤다. The calm morning of Mykonos 모두가 잠든 미코노스의 아침. They seem to have an interesting event but we had to leave. 재미있어 보이는 행사가 있는데 떠나야하는 것이 아쉽다. And this party also. 이 파티도......
