However, I knew that we were supposed to take the ferry in the different port from the one we arrived in, but didn't know it was that far. (Google maps suck!) In the end, we had to run a quite long distance with those heavy bags, and one wheel was broken on the rocky road. 마르마리스로 가는 페리가 산토리니에서 도착했던 항구가 아닌 다른 항구에서 출발한다는 건 미리 알고 있었는데, 구글 지도만 믿다가 그 거리가 그렇게 먼 줄 몰랐다. 여유부리다가 결국 무거운 캐리어를 끌고 한참을 뛰어갔는데, 울툴불퉁한 도로에서 하나가 고장나서 거의 질질 끌다시피 가야했다. A can of beer after a long race: 2 EUR 긴 경주 끝의 맥주 한 캔. 가치를 매길 수 없는건 아니고 2유로 줬음. It only takes 1 hour to Turkey. Apollonion 1, Rodos 851 00, Greece 2013-09-27 FRI I'm not sure which area of the castle is called "bastion", but there is some open area behind the castle where you can feel like being in an ancient battle field. 지난번에도 얘기했지만 성채가 관광 구역 대부분으로 복잡하게 덮고 있어서 구체적으로 어느 부분이 "성 조지 요새"인지 잘 모르겠지만, 성에서 서쪽으로 빠져나가 보면 고대 공성전으로 들어간 듯한 이색적인 장소가 나타난다. There are piles of giant stones everywhere. They may be the cannons that were actually used in old times, or just setup to make the old atmosphere. 곳곳에 이런 거대한 돌무더기들이 쌓여있는데, 실제로 예전에 사용했던 대포알 같은건지 나중에 장식으로 올려둔건지는 모르겠다. We were hungry and didn't have much time before taking another ferry to Marmaris, Turkey, so we had lunch at a restaurant near the port. 드디어 이번 여정의 마지막 섬인 로도스에 도착. 배도 고프고 터키 마르마리스로 가는 페리까지 시간이 많지 않은 편이라 항구 근처에서 점심을 먹었다. The living cost here seems the lowest among the towns in Greece we have visited. 그동안 방문한 그리스 지역들 중에서 물가가 가장 저렴하다. 터키랑 맞닿아 있어서 그런것 같기도 한데, 그래도 우리나라랑 큰 차이가 없다. 2013-09-27 FRI 00:50 Santorini > (9:10) > 10:00 Rhodes We took a bus to the port but it turned out that everyone wanted to take the same one for the overnight ferry. It was almost a war to get in the bus. We won the battle but strongly suggest to prepare for another option. 스케줄이 맞길래 큰 고민 없이 버스를 타고 항구로 가면 되겠구나 싶었는데, 모든 사람들이 같은 버스로 그 큰 페리로 이동하고자 하는 것을 간과했다. 치열한 전투(?) 끝에 버스에 타긴 했는데, 가능하다면 버스 말고 다른 수단을 강구하는게 정신건강과 신체건강을 위해 좋겠다. The only thing in my mind was the relief that we can catch the ferry, so didn't have a chance to feat the height. 우여곡절 끝에 버스에 오르니 이거 놓쳤으면 한국에 못갈뻔 했겠구나 하는 생각만 들어서 올 때 무서웠던 경사를 보고도 별 생각이 안들었다. This wasn't ours. 도착하자마자 배가 들어오길래 어 저 배인가 싶었는데 아니었음. Our Blue Horizon is coming to the port. It takes 9 hours to Rhodes, so it'll be 10 in the morning.
