Largo Monte, 1170-107 Lisboa, Portugal   The first and must-visit place in Lisbon where you can find what it's like. 2022-09-07 WED After laste lunch at  Solar Dos Bicos , it was a little late to look around the city. So I wanted to check out one place where I can see the most of the area. There are many beautiful cities in Europe, but Lisbon is very unique in that most of city has been build on on elevated geography. It still connected with old maze-like small streets, and that's why tram is still the most convenient transport. It's like Dubrovnik on a hill. The most scenic view is occupied by this restaurant, but you don't really need to dine in here. Because we still have much open space such as this plaza. back to Lisbon (2022)

Athens 114 71, Greece 2013-09-20 FRI The must-do when you visit a city is to go somewhere high to look down the whole area. In Athens, it's the Lykavittos Hill. 여행에서 처음 방문하는 도시에서 꼭 해야할 것은 높은 곳에 올라가 전체 경관을 내려다 보는 것. 아테네에서는 리카비토스 언덕이다. There is a funicular railway to the top but you still walk to the station. 정상까지 가는 퍼니큘라 레일웨이가 있지만 타는 곳까지 조금 걸어 올라가야 한다. It seems that the rick live on the high area in Athens, not like in Seoul. 서울과는 달리 아테네 달동네는 부자 동네인 듯 하다. The funicular railway consts 7 EUR for each, which is a bit expensive but the view above more than worth it. 퍼니큘라 레일웨이 비용은 7유로로 꽤 비싼 편인데 위에서 감상하는 뷰에 비하면 감수하고 남을 정도다. The breathtaking view from the top of the hill. 정상에서 내려다 보는 아테네 전경은 정말 압권이다. Pantheron. 판테론 신전도 내려다 보인다. And the best time to climb up the hill is right before the sunset. 일몰 직전에 올라가면 빛에 따라 달라지는 다양한 아름다움을 감상할 수 있다. back to Athens (2013)

4000 Tsentar, Plovdiv, Bulgaria 2019-10-06 SUN 사방으로 플로브디프가 내려다 보이는 유적지 올드 타운의 오르막 길을 따라가다 보면 정상에 작은 공터가 나타난다. 예전 건물 내지는 성곽이 일부 남아있는데 플로브디프의 다른 명소와 마찬가지로 자유롭게 올라서 주변을 구경할 수 있다. 관광지 같이 느껴지지 않고 동네 뒷산 같은 느낌이라 더 좋다. The best place to enjoy the sunset of Plovdiv. 플로브디프의 석양을 감상할 수 있는 최고의 장소다. It's not crowded and people are just sitting quiet enjoying the view. 한적하게 조용히 경치를 감상하는 사람들이 조금 있을 뿐. back to Plovdiv (2019)
