If you look west from Piazza Stesicoro , you can see the beautiful Chiesa di San Biagio in Sant'Agata alla Fornace , but you may miss what's underground in front of it. There's an entrance, and the entrance itself seems to be from old times. Catania is a city near the active volcanic mountin Etna, once covered by lava long time ago. While the new city was constructed, they sometimes encounter thiese historic buildings underground, and they just keep it there in the middle of other modern structures, because it's too late to redesign the city again, creating very unique scense, just like Plovdiv in Bulgaria.
