Thursday daytime was the only chance we can look around Shenzhen, so local dancers asked us what our plan was. I showed them my to-go list in Shenzhen, they recommend another place: Talent Park.
광저우도 그렇지만 선전 일정도 짧아서 목요일 낮시간이 유일한 자유시간이었다. 전날 선전 댄서들과 대화 중에 남는 시간에 뭐할거냐고 물어보길래 미리 TripAdvisor를 참고해서 만든 목록을 보여줬더니, 그 중 일부는 별로라며 Talent Park라는 곳을 추천해줬다.

Zhuzilin station

Metro in China is very cheap. Only 3CNY for a ride. Also the kiosk is easy to use. English supported.
지하철은 3위안으로 매우 저렴하다. 목적지 입력하고 수량 입력하고 동전 투입. 영문 지원되고 간단하다.

This is the token. Swipe when getting in and put in when you come out.
지하철용 토큰인데 사용법이 특이하다. 들어갈 때는 인식기에 갖대다면 되고, 나올 때는 투입구에 넣어서 반납한다.

Fumin station.

The tourist sites are located along east to west, so this line will be only one you may use.
선전은 주요 볼거리들이 동서로 늘어서 있어서 지하철을 탄다면 이 노선을 이용하게 된다.

Zhuzilin station.
목적지에서 가장 가까운 역인 Zhuzilin에서 하차.

In China you always have to carry your own Kleenex. Especially in a public toilet, there is a vending machine, but you cannot buy any without WeChat Pay.
중국에서 휴지를 꼭 갖고 다녀야 하는 이유. 화장실이든 어디든 휴지가 없다. 자판기는 있는데 위챗페이를 못 쓰면 돈이 있어도 똥을 못싼다.

The park seemed to be quite a big one, but I couldn't find the way out. I asked a guy the direction but he told me I have to pay him 5 CNY. I just walked away and finally found the sign: Shenzhen Talent Park.

그런데 꽤 큰 공원 같던데 지하철역에 안내가 잘 안되어 있어서 어디로 나갈지를 몰랐다. 근처 사람에게 물어보니까 5위안을 주면 데려다 준단다. 무시하고 더 헤매다가 드디어 출구 표지를 찾았다.

Now it seems like a park.
이제 좀 공원 같다.

But that was it. No seaside theme park. There was only office building where many people are waiting for something, and it looked like a government facility. So we just gave up and left. I asked the local dancers that night and found out that we were in a totally wrong place. There was another Talent Park. Obviously someone did a terrible work when translating "human resource office(人才圓)".

그런데 아무리 찾아도 설명으로 듣던 수변공원 같은게 안보인다. 큰건물이 있긴 한데 무슨 관공서처럼 생겨서 사람들이 번호표 뽑고 기다릴 뿐. 결국 포기하고 시내로 돌아왔다. 나중에 물어보니 한참을 깔깔대고 웃더라. Talent Park는 다른데 있는데 어찌된 영문인지 그곳도 영어로는 Talent Park라고. 한자를 유심히 봤더니 인재원(人才圓)이더라. 그런데 인재원의 '원'은 '院' 아닌가?
