The location is the best because it is very close from major tourist sites such as Georgia Aquarium, and the World of Coca Cola. The staff was kind and helpful. Whenever we have a problem, they just gave us a solution right away. We had a problem with the bathroom, so they changed ours to a better one. The breakfast is also quite good.
애틀랜타 여행을 위한 최적의 위치
호텔을 선택할 때 가장 중요하게 생각하는 것이 위치인데, 이 호텔은 애틀랜타의 가장 중요한 관광지인 조지아 아쿠아리움과 월드 오브 코카콜라와 바로 인접해 있어 최적의 입지를 갖추고 있다. 그 외에도 서비스와 조식 등 모든 것이 만족스러웠다. 욕실에 문제가 있어서 호텔 측에 얘기했더니 더 좋은 방으로 바꿔주는 등 문제 처리도 신속했다.
After staying one night in the Holiday Inn near the airport, we moved to Hilton Garden Inn for the rest of days in Atlanta. I've searched for ways to get there, and found out that the public transportation is not that convenient, but the fare of Uber is reasonable.
공항 근처의 홀리데이인에서 하룻밤을 머문 후 애틀란타의 메인 숙소인 힐튼가든인으로 이동했다. 공항에서 시내로 이동방법을 찾아봤는데 대중교통은 환승 때문에 좀 불편하고, 대신 우버가 크게 비싸지 않았다.
There was a free shuttle service from/to the airport, so I wonder if it'd be cheaper if we take Uber from the airport, which turned out to be not. I guess the direction is the opposite.
공항까지 무료 셔틀이 있어서 혹시 공항에서 출발하면 더 저렴하나 확인해 봤는데 더 비싼걸 보니 시내는 공향 반대 방향인가보다. 게다가 공항에선 우버 잡기가 더 애매할 것 같았다.
The rooms is huge compared to the ones we stayed before.
예전에 묵었던 숙소들에 비하면 방은 정말 거대하다. 이렇게 공간이 남아돌아도 되나 싶을 정도. 땅이 남아도는 나라라서 그런가.
There's the Georgia Aquarium right in front of the hotel. You can actually see it through the window.
조지아 아쿠아리움이 정말 코 앞에 있어서 호텔 창문으로 바로 보인다.
I always want to take photo of the room without our belongings, but also always forget.
짐 늘어놓기 전에 방 사진 찍어야지라고 항상 생각하면서 항상 깜빡한다.

After coming back to the hotel, I took a shower and I found out that there is a problem with drainage. I've called the front desk and they suggested that they'd change ours to a better room the next day.
호텔로 돌아와서 샤워를 하고나니 배수에 문제가 있는 것을 발견했다. 로비에 전화를 했더니 다음날 더 좋은 방으로 바꿔주기로 했다.
While I was waiting for the repairman, I checked out Safety and Security Procedures. Yes, I do weird stuff sometimes.
수리공을 기다리는 동안 안전 관련 절차 안내책자를 봤다. 가끔 이런 짓을 하곤 한다.
I didn't know I'm not supposed to open my door to the hotel employee, which makes sense anyway.
생각해보면 당연한건데 호텔직원이라고 무조건 문을 열어주면 안된다.
When I travel I used to get used to the time zone immediately, but I guess now I'm old. I couldn't get asleep, so I checked the room service.
원래 여행가면 시차적응 따위는 도착하자마자 해버렸는데 이제 늙었나보다. 잠이 안오고 배고파서 룸서비스를 확인해봤다.
The book said they have a small store near the lobby, so I went down and check it out.
1층에 가게가 있다고 해서 내려가봤다.
I found what I needed at that time: Beer and noodle. However, when I tried to pay for them, the staff told me that I cannot buy beer after 2AM until 11AM. Right, it was USA.
지금 딱 필요한 맥주와 컵라면을 찾아서 신나게 계산하려는데, 주류는 새벽 2시부터 11시까지 판매가 안된단다. 여기 미국이었지.
At last it's time for the restaurant to open for breakfast, so we entered as their first customer. What a greedy Asian couple.
마침내 조식 시간이 되어서 1등으로 입장했다. 먹는거 밝히는 아시안들이라 하는거 아닌지 모르겠다.
I ordered omelette with everything and it was so great.
오블렛 매우 맛있었다.
We are almost done with our food and then sun rose. When I tried to pay, our waitress said it's free. Probably because it's Christmas. So we said thanks but made a serious mistake not leaving tips. It was 14.95 USD by the way.
식사가 다 끝날 때쯤에야 해가 뜨기 시작했다. 흑인들은 어찌나 말 한마디 한마디가 랩이고 알앤비인지 식사 내내 옆에서 떠들고 춤추는데 보기 좋더라. 계산하고 나가려는데 공짜라고 그냥 가란다. 크리스마스라 그러나. 어쨌든 고맙다 하고 일어섰는데 큰 실수를 해버린게 팁까지 안두고 나와버린거다. 미국 여행할 때는 항상 잊지말자 팁!!! 조식은 14.95불이었다.
After breakfast we changed our room with this view,
식사 후 약속대로 방을 바꿨는데 뷰가 이렇고,
and this jacuzzi!!! 방에 자쿠지가 있다!!!
The room is smaller but whatever, we have a jacuzzi.
방은 먼저보다 작은거 같은데 됐고 자쿠지가 있다.
