A tapas bar where local people hang out. You order tapas from the shelf. Be there a little early before tapas run out.

It was 9PM, which is not that late for dinner in Spain, however not easy to find a place to eat.

Our first destination was El miniBAR near the Plaza Mayor, so we took metro for a quite long way to here, but it turned out to be fully booked.

We came to far anyway, so moved over to the San Miguel Market nearby, expensive though.

It was clear that people even don't have seats.

Google map showed some restaurants in the Plaza Mayor, so moved again. It had more energetic atmosphere than daytime. However, we were not satisfied with the tourist-oriented mood, so left again.

We came back to the area where our hotel, SLEEP'N Atocha is located, but Tinto y Tapas San Pedro is closed.

After four times of failure, we finally found a place open.

It was a genuine local tapas bar, where you pick from the shelf. Unfortunately, many of tapas was out of stock, so we didn't have much choice.

The owner seemed to like collecting old stuff.

complimentary fried pig skin, that I didn't know Spanish also enjoy.

There were no signs for each tapas, and only the owner who is not always available could speak English, so I don't remember what these exactly are but all yummy.

A collection of Coca Cola bottles and cans.

I loved wine here so ordered another glass.
