A cozy hostel with private rooms. Little far from the center but it is another joy to ride tram 28.

Some expressions I studied while flying to Lisbon:

• Bom dia = Good morning
• "Olá" is also commonly used, but also used in Spain. So, "Bom dia" sounds more local. For example, when entering a museum, I said Bom dia, and the staff replied in Portuguese. She explained later that she though that I'm Portuguese because I said "Bom dia". However, they often just speak Portuguese even when they know I'm a foreigner.
• Obrigado = Thank you

Covid-19 policy in Portugal

• No document required for immigration.
• Masks must be worn only in public transportation, hospital, and so on.
• This was same with Spain, but no one wore masks in the metro in Lisbon.
• 7.1부터 해외→포르투갈 입국시 코로나19 관련 서류(음성확인서, 한국 또는 제3국 발행 백신접종증명서, 미성년자, 미접종자, Coov 앱 등) 제출 의무는 전부 폐지되었으며, 코로나19관련 어떠한 서류 준비도 필요없습니다. 포르투갈은 특별 방역지침을 해제, 버스, 지하철 등 교통시설과 양로원 등 요양시설과 약국 이용시에만 마스크를 착용

Humberto Delgado Airport was quite big and we had to walk for a long time to reach the baggage claim. It was also interesting that there didn't seem to be separated areas for departure and arrival. There was no immigration process probably because we're from Spain in the same Schengen Area.

I booked the Lisbon Poets Hostel, because I found a good deal of a private room in TripAdvisor. It is basically a normal hostel, but also has a private room with 2 floors. The right door in the picture is the main entrance and the left one is ours, which is almost a separated building.

The hostel sent me an email with the password to the main entrance.

I totally agree with the password, "LOGOUTANDREADBOOKS", but I needed Wi-Fi for the travel plan anyway.

There are safes next to the door, assigned to each guest, the key cards were already ready.

There is small outdoor space on the second floor. 

The first floor of our private room had a couch and bathroom.

The stairway lead to the 2nd floor. 

The building is a bit old but bathroom was well-equipped.
