Good to have various choices but not cost-effective. 2025-01-02 THU Hunting for the first meal in Saigon. After checkin in  ÊMM Hotel Saigon , we went out for meal. It turned out that our hotel is very next block from Soul Live Project , the venue of Saigon Swing Festival. Locals were celebrating the new year with traditional costumes in the  Independence Palace . The name 'street food' sounded interesting, but it didn't look as I expected, because it was more like a food court. Also the price was ridiculous cosidering the local prices. 12 grilled oysters were only 139k in  Hàu Nướng Oyster Box .  A bit fun to look around but it only took a few minutes. Decide fast and move to the next target. back to Ho Chi Minh (2025.1)

We took a grab to the hotel and it took about 10 minutes. We passed by the Ben Thanh Market on the way. There were not many motorcycles in Vung Tau, so now I feel like being in Vietnam. We'll join the social dance and we would only sleep in the room, so I just booked the most cost-effective hotel near the venue. The room was basic but still spacious. 2025-01-03 FRI The view is better than expected. Breakfast is included in the room. The menus were not super various but still were consist of interesting cusines. Also they have pho station! 2025-01-04 SAT Breakfast before check-out. The limousine bus was not much different from  Vie Limousine . They also stopped at  Bò Sữa Long Thành số 2 . Probably this is the only rest area, or just has business contracts with many limousine companies. It's still interesting that many packages include Korean label. back to Ho Chi Minh (2025.1)

83QJ+WV Vũng Tàu, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Vietnam 2025-01-01 WED Her second dessert. While we're just walking around, she stopped at a cafe again. It was more like tables set in a garage though. I think 'sầu riêng'(durian) is the only Vietnamese that she picked up.  Tàu hũ tươi Soyzi 15k Unfortunately then ran out of durian, so she just ordered the regular one. back to Vung Tau (2024.12)

Nice view to the local street. 2025-01-01 WED Durian break (just for her) As we came back to this street where we were last night, she naturally went for durian to this cafe. Eh...... Thanks god. Avocado coconut w durian Ice-cream 60k Coconut Ice-cream 30k I've ordered Avocado coconut but it was just coconut. Still better than durian. I respect your taste.  It has quite a good view to this local street but we were the only customers. Cultural differece is alway an interesting issue. Chillig. back to Vung Tau (2024.12)

서울 서초구 나루터로 66 지하 1층 킹무까타   가성비 좋은 무까타 무한리필(시간제한X). 24시간 영업. 동남아 본토 음식을 좋아한다면 강추. 2025-06-18 WED 린클 분기모임에서 무까타 흡입. 모임 직전까지 장소가 미정이라 신사역 근처 검색해서 저장해 놨던 무까타 식당을 던져봤는데 결과적으로 모두 만족했다. 결론부터 말하자면 6시부터 12시까지 6시간 동안 3.5명이서 (1명 조기 귀가) 소주 3병, 생맥 18잔 뿌시고 옴. 총 217,000원, 인당 54,250원이 나왔지만, 3차까지 간 걸로 치면 엄청 저렴하게 먹은 셈이다.  매장은 넓은 편인데 손님이 많지는 않았다. 6시간 동안 우리 포함 한국 손님이 3팀, 태국 손님이 5~6팀 정도 왔던 것 같다. 게다가 태국 손님 중 2팀은 여자 혼자 먹으러 왔다. 24시간 영업이라 그런지 저녁시간대 몰리지 않고 늦은 시간까지 손님이 적지만 꾸준히 오는 것도 특이했다. 뒷쪽에 가라오케 시설, 매점까지 구비한 걸로 봐서 현지인들이 사랑방처럼 찾는 곳인 듯 하다. 길게 4개의 음식대가 2x2로 배열되어 있고 각각 고기, 해물, 소스, 채소이고 접시, 집게 등도 찾기 쉽게 상당히 잘 구성되어 있다. 삼겹살, 곱창, (아마도) 우설, 간 등 고기 종류가 다양해서 좋았다.  종류는 많았지만 선택은 떠오는 사람 마음. 가운데는 갈매기살 뭐 그런거 아닐가.  안좋아하는 새우 등은 건너뛰고 가리비가 있어서 싹싹 긁어왔다. 생연어가 있는 것도 특이했다.  고기 먹을 때 채소 따위 먹지 않는 사람이었는데 그 분 덕분에 문명인에 많이 가까워졌다.  새우 튀김 등이 있어서 주재료 익기 전에 에피타이저로 먹기 좋았다. 다만 눅눅한 건 항상 새로 조리할 수 없으니 그렇다 치더라도 차갑기까지 해서 손이 많이 가지는 않았다.  무까타는 기본적으로 돼지고기를 동시에 굽고 삶아서 다양하게 즐길 수 있는 요리다. 2년 전 방콕 갔을 때  T.
