Where the tour begins.
The main tourist area is about 30 minuts away on foot from our hotel. That is Praça Francisco Sá Carneiro, where our hotel is located.
Jardim da Alameda Dom Afonso Henriques. The west side is uphill to the Instituto Superior Técnico.
The east side faces the Fonte Luminosa.

Praça Martim Moniz seemd like a peaceful place at first, but I've found out that it could be somewhat dangerous with a lot of suspicios people hanging out. One day I even witnessed a dude going number two in an open space.
The long queue waiting for tram 28 reminded me that we've been here in the last visit a few years ago.
