(Vung Tau) Lotte Mart Vung Tau ★★★★
Góc đường 3/2 và, Đường Thi Sách, Phường 8, Vũng Tàu, Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu, Vietnam
- Must-visit if you stay in Vung Tau for a couple of days. Beer and Korean Products you forgot to bring. Korean franchise but the quality of service is not imported.
Beer shopping.
I didn't know GS25 is also expoerted.
At first it was a littler wierd to see Lotte Mart in Vietnam. Baiscally it's just a hypermarket. a big market. So I wonder why they just don't make their own.
Endless boxes of beer. I don't even get into the building.
We were consideirng a smaller suitcase, but somehow it's not cheap then Korea.
They also have Lotte Cinema in it.
Actually there were other reasons to visit here, including money exhange. It was recommended to exchange in this jewelry store, but they don't open on Sundays.
It took a while to discuss why I've received less money than expected with the staff who's not speaking English. It turned out that the rate is low when it's $20 bill. Reminder: bring large bills like $100 when traveling to Vietnam.
- 1 USD = 0.9592 EUR
- 1 VND = 0.05667 KRW
- 1 USD (>50) = 25,015 VND = 1418 KRW
- 1 USD (<50) = 24,157 VND = 1369 KRW
- 0.9592 EUR (>50) = 24,698 VND = 1400 KRW
- 0.9592 EUR (<50) = 24,671 VND = 1398 KRW
- USD(>50) > EUR(>50) > EUR(<50) > USD(<50)
Also, they didn't accept some bills because they're slightly damanged.
After dinner at Hải Sản CÔ THU Thái Bình, we stopped by again to buy stuff before going back to the hotel.
It seems that you can buy any Korean products here, including all these different brands of Soju.
I was full but still wanted to find out how different Vietnamese sausage is, and it turned out not much. I didn't know back then, but the street seller costed me more because 20k dosn't make sense for that. I'm pretty sure it was 10k or less.
It must have been a big game, since even the Grab driver was also watching it.
"Korean?" "Yes" "Park Hang-seo!"
As I said, just like World cup 2002 back in 2002. However
I think I need more for the rest of our stay,
That's why I prepare for more than one streaming service when I travel.
