(Berlin) Bebop (Hang & Jam)
Pfuelstraße 5, 10997 Berlin, Germany
Beautiful floor and nice river view. The organizer and dancers were so friendly that I had wonderful time.
2023-05-17 WED
We stayed in Berlin for 3 nights and wanted to check out the social dance at least once. On Monday we arrived too late, and the venue on Tuesday was too far and away from the city. So Hang and Jam on Wednesday that happens in the Bebop right across the East Side Gallery seemed to be the best choice.

The venue itself is easy to find, because of the music that I could hear from the main street. However, the entrance was a little difficult to find, but it was on the right side of the building facing this beautiful river view.
The entrance fee was 5 EUR and small bill is expected. I bought a glass of Dunkel at the bar which was 4 EUR. They didn't have change at the moment but kindly said "I trust you and I'll ask you to pay later when we have change."
I was so lucky that it was the very last event before winter, and the floor was packed with dancers. Probably one of the biggest regular social dances I've ever visited beside Korea.
I was concerning about the last metro back to the hotel, but it turned to run all night long because tomorrow is a national holiday. I love Berlin!
