Archaeologicla museum.

10:10 After picking up our e-bike near the port, we headed to the Ggantija temple. I'm not a big fan of museum, but it was kinda on the way to Ramla Bay, and one educational experience for a day seemed ok.

At this point, I had to return the stupid e-bikes and rent something else like a quad.

11:10 After one hour of yet fun riding, we've arrived in the museum.

Ggantija Temples
"These represent one of the most important archaeological sites on the Maltese Islands and are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The site consists of two temples dating back to between 3600 and 3200 BC. The name Ggantija derived from the word 'ggant', Maltese for giant, is Gozitans used to believe the temples were built by a race of giants..."

Before entrance, I stopped by a supermarket for her juice. Apple Juice 1L is only 1.22 EUR. So probably grocery is cheap in Malta.

20 EUR for each.

"Replica of the skirted figure found shattered at the Xagha Circle"

Please touch.

"SKULL found at the Xaghra Circle. This is the skull of a woman which was studied by forensic experts in order to recreate what she looked like when sh was alive in the Neolithic."

Once going through the exit at the back, you meet open ground, which is why it is called an archaeological park.

"Most temple sites are positioned in areas with access to the sea and to agricultural plains..."

"With an area of only 67km2, the island of Gozo has limited natural resources. Human settlement therefore relies heavily on agriculture and the islanders are dependent on contact with other lands to obtain materals which are not available locally. This has considerable impact on the environment."

Strange-looking plant.

If you look close, many electronic devices are attached to rocks, probably to stabilize the structure or moniotr the status.

That must be Victoria, the old capital of Gozo.

Don't you have a guidebook in Korean?

A small shop is near the exit.

The exit / gift shop of the museum.
