(Alcúdia) Medieval Wall of Alcúdia ★★★★
Camí de Ronda, 35, 07400 Alcúdia, Illes Balears, Spain
- Fun and educational walk on the wall. It was great taking photos and videos of each other from up on the wall and down on the street.
Walking around on the wall.
The old town is quite big so you'd better make a strategy how you'd cover the whole area, such as from outside to insdie, or east to west. We just followed the flow.
Església de Sant Jaume d'Alcúdia
We've vistied Oficina de Turisme (Tourist Information Center) but not much information to pick up.
Instead, we'v found this tapas restaurant selling 6 tapas by only 11.5 euros!
Stone gate with 2 crenellated towers, originally built into 14th-century city walls."
This is the wall you can walk on it.
The area is flat, so I don't they needed a high wall to defend the town.
We've found a group talking photos and videos eath other while one person is going on the wall and the others on the floor. So I came down to the street to do the same with her, and ended up missing a chance to go back up.
