(Alcúdia) Platja d'Alcúdia ★★★★★
- A nice beach close to the port and the old town. Clean and shallow water. Lots of restaurants and facilities nearby.
Alcudia beach.
We took a bus again back to the town, and the same bus with broken system took us again. Thanks for the free ride. However, there was temporary route modification due to some race coming up. So we had to take off early and walk.
It must be a triathlon. There were hundres of bicycles stored by the beach so that the participants can take after they finish swimming.
There were some people in the water wearing wetsuits, probably getting used to the conditions before the race.
The water in the middle of the bay is not too deep and seemed good to have fun.
Nothing is free.
