(Barcelona) Travelodge Barcelona Poblenou ★★★★
Carrer de Llull, 170, Sant Martí, 08005 Barcelona, Spain
- cost-effective hotle in a good location
- When I visited Spain, hotel prices were ridiculously high, but this one was relatively good considering the quality of the facilities and service. It’s a bit far from the city center, but the area is full of restaurants and still walkable to most attractions, including the beach. The staff at check-in seemed a bit cold, but the night staff were very helpful.
- 595,860 KRW / 4 nights = 148,965
The most cost-effective hotel I could find when Barcelona was ridiculously expensive.
We've arrived in Barcelona from Mallorca with Vueling airlines.
We've taken the Aerobus. Thanks to the experience of a few times in Barcelona, we didn't buy the ticket from the kisok but from the driver onboard, which made the transfer quick.
The best suitcase rack from which you can take out your bag so easily.
Transferred to a local bus in the Pl. Catalunya.
Even public transporation is expensive.
Fanals de passeig Lluís Companys on the other side.
The hotel is easy to find. At first It seemed like a bank though.
The female staff at the reception was somewhat cold, but night shift was kind.
I've found a supermarket, Bonpreu near our hotel.
I just came out to do some shopping daily necessties like wine and beer.
I guess the only cheap product in Barcelona.
Gift for coworkers.
When I tried to pay, it turned out to be a self-checkout system in Spanish only. As I was obviously holding up the queue, a staff member tried to explain the process—also in Spanish. When I couldn’t understand, she sighed and gave me an annoyed look.
I haven't to this side of the city before, but I loved the atmosphere. It was not too crowded likt the central city, but still full of cafes, restaurants, and people.
Don't waste your money on these small shops uneless it's an emergency.
